Proud to be a spaniard and proud to say that my country gave birth to all of america… you should have seen la Habana before communism. The laughs and the happiness all around

Is it your position that the Spanish did not rape and loot the Americas and precipitate the end and destruction of native civilizations through their acts of colonization, exploitation and greed?

Its my position that the spaniards conquered by war and did horrible things like any other country in history.

However it is also my position that the indians were canibals and Human sacrifice-makers and practiced all kind of slavery between them.

It is also my position that spain deserves a place in ethical colonization history. In the laws of Burgos slavery was prohibited and private property and education at a college level was made possible for indians. A mestizo society was created. Spaniards married indians and gave their surnames to their children. Where the hell do you see that in british colonies? The demonic gods of the indians were destroyed and the catholic god was evangelised to the indians by priests who preserved their languages. One banner was made for the indians who were named sons of god and had the same rights as the spaniards. 25 universities were created for indians to study. More than 1000 cities founded which made the spanish empire the empire with more cities founded. And much more which l wont say in this comment because i want to keep it short.

What genocide was made? Nowadays hispanic america has a 40 percent of indian population and a 30 percent of mestizo population.

Im not denying however that there were multiple cases of abuses as everywhere else. But rome comitted organised genocide against some provinces But that doesnt mean that Europe would be nothing without roman influence.

Please answer with knowledge and facts not petty sentimental ‘ arguments ‘

Like any other country? You believe Spanish and British colonialism, for example, were not unique and exceptional? “Everybody” did it?

So, there are no degrees of cheating? Extent of lying? Scale of bloodshed? Quantity of theft? Measures of violence? Scope of subjugation? Size of one’s narcissism? The reach of one’s greed? The expanse of one’s pursuit of mammon?

Europe, including Spain, is quite unique in this regards.

… as if our culture isn’t already over-sexualized as it is. We need guys trying to “pecker” women in public. And women side-stepping and taunting, “try again”.

She could go to a trailer park in the US and find just as much ‘seduction’ taking place. This is just a strange infomercial for Cuba.

She didn’t really exude that seduction factor when she was dancing she was holding back. Then when she started talking
….for some reason I wondered if she has an eating disorder?
