betatalk357 and Joseph Collins were pretty right on. Self Improvement is only a belief that you arent good enough, but you are! you just can’t grasp the idea/realization of that because you might have already bought into some deep self depleting beliefs from society.  So self improvement is sorta like cleaning a mirror that you keep spitting on, your wondering why is this mirror so dirty? because you bought the idea that you need to be upgraded.  Now, this is only self-doubt in disguise. Real self-improvement is knowing that there is really no purpose in playing the self improvement game but you play without purpose. Games arent all about winning but instead are about playing. so enjoy improving, but dont believe that some idea in your head is the crown achievement cuz all are illusions. Thank you and Die happily.

Good enough for what?  Good enough to play Brad Pitt’s role?

Masturbation, in the end, benefits no one but yourself. It is simple, uncomplicated and really, gets you nowhere

Yes Brad, because self-destruction is totally what got you as ripped as you were for this role.

Are we really going to ignore the fact that the long haired guy says “excuse me” when he’s about to walk past the narrator but not Tyler Durden?

It’s pretty sketchy on who he said it to. He faced forward and walked by both of them, so it could’ve been either or he said it to

    Self destruction is being selfless.

“Self-improvement is masturbation. Now self-destruction is the answer.”

We’re all playing a role we never wanted to play but are forced into. By destroying/removing the things around you that define you, (Either physically tearing it down or mentally ignoring it.) you become your core self. We no longer have anything that defines us.

Self-destruction doesn’t literally mean beating yourself in the face(Only if you want to discover yourself at it’s deepest level: Survival instinct, knowing you’re going to die unless you step the **** up).

just figured something out, eventually no one will ever read it and iam not sure if it is intended but it might help to the overall understanding. Tyler might say musturbation “must”. Its a really deep philosophy of this guy Albert Ellis. In this video u will find the answer you might be looking for.
