In the spirit of ideas worth spreading, TEDx is a program of local, self-organized events that bring people together to share a TED-like experience. At a TEDx event, TEDTalks video and live speakers combine to spark deep discussion and connection in a small group. These local, self-organized events are branded TEDx, where x = independently organized TED event. The TED Conference provides general guidance for the TEDx program, but individual TEDx events are self-organized.* (*Subject to certain rules and regulations)

I am living in China for about 3 months and I could order food and have simple conversations. I am waiting to see how my Mandarin would become in another 3 months.

Emma Dear Lol but make sure you really want to learn the language and your up for the challenges because I take japanese and it’s pretty tough. I know so many people who dropped out because it was really challenging. (Most of them only took it because of anime?) But if your interested learn it! It’s a really beautiful language and culture!!!

I am 14 and I’m fluent in English, Spanish and German and am currently studying Japanese! As long as you believe in yourself and are motivated then honestly it is a lot easier to adapt to the language given.
