Great books there! Im interested in that first audio book actually.. Im battling with whether or not to get some sort of Audible subscription because i have soo many in my wish list.. i dont really read that much just because of time and im such a slow reader.

also, where are you listening to country living? x

I think if you can then go for it coz Audible is great. The audio book i actually got from audible with their 1 month free subscription coz you can download the books. I’m the same about the time thing so I’ve started to substitute the time I would watch youtube videos for example and I’ll read instead, Im a slow reader too coz i want to digest and understand everything lol

And I’m listening to it on the Ellen White app before i go to sleep 🙂

Hey great content! where do you go to med school?? ALso im making a video on my youtube channel about how to develop a passion for studying since you are in med school! what would be your number 1 tip to make studying more enjoyable ?? since as doctors you will be stuyding for a life time!

Oh that’s awesome! And i would say get creative with note taking etc. Find something you enjoy and incoorporate studying into it for example if you love going to the gym. Then you can listen to a lecture or study video while working out etc. and u go to LSMU in Lithuania 🙂

Switch on Your Brain sounds good, but does it mention God a lot? I don’t believe in any God, so although I like the concept of how your thoughts can change your mind (reminds me of the study of people with Mulitple Personality Disorder) I don’t want to hear about God/Christianity since it’s not my faith.

Its really good and no its not a trying to convert you book haha even if you don’t believe in a God you can still read it. Its heavily scientific and research based with some case studies. It mentions Bible principles and then has scientific laws and principles which prove the same thing. It’s more about the thoughts and mind concept. Even if you don’t believe in God you can take the scientific principles from it really. its not a shoving God down your throat kind of book in my opinion. But maybe give it a try and see what you think

Some great advice and most importantly: NOT ALL THE TYPICAL self help books everybody keeps talking about. Saw some fresh new here! Added some to my must-read list 🙂

My favorite is Siddhartha by Hermann Hesse. Very famous, but many self-improvement/lifestyle gurus skip it 😉

Great recommendations! I really think that Dr M Greger’s book How Not To Die should be required reading for med students. He goes into the top 15 leading causes of death & how they can be prevented/reversed through diet. When I read about how up to 90% of heart disease could be healed through diet, it’s a travesty that the information is not widely known, especially in the healthcare field. It has huge implications for the NHS & other publicly funded healthcare. This is not the only book on this, a few doctors have written about it. But Dr Greger lists hundreds of references to back up his claim, and he said he only used about 10% of the resources he found. So the science is very well established! He has a YT channel too: Nutrition Facts
