"9 MUST READ Self Improvement Books Personal Development For Starters"

Coach Corey Wayne's Youtube Channel:

When I first got into personal development, I didn't even know what it is!

Truth is, I was basically forced into personal development because the boss of my first official sales job threatened I'd lose my job if I failed to listen to an audio book titled, "The 7 Habits of Highly Effective People".

However, after finally listening to the audiobook, I was hooked!

Personal development became drugs to me!

And from that moment forth, my personal/spiritual development journey had begun.

With that being said though, for someone like yourself who may have just discovered the power of personal development, or you may be someone looking for the next best book to read, here are my top 9 recommendations for self improvement books.

Each and every one of these books have played a significant role in my life and I know that if you took the time to read them, and put them into action, they will have a huge positive impact on your life.

Check them out.

Thank you for your recommendations! I once read “The Power of Now” and at the beginning I found it very interesting. Actually the ideas in that book are interesting, but as I kept on reading I found maybe too complicated, like without much of a practical use: too much theory and heavy thinking. Although I am sure it has contributed a lot to others! I will probably give it another try in the future.

I would like to ask you if you know about Tim Ferris (sure u do!). He has a great book called “The 4 Hour Work Week”. He also has a very interesting blog. I highly recommend his material to anyone working on personal growth.

I just bought 3 of the books you recommended and will start to read them soon. Thanks a lot for your contributions, Chris and Anthony!!

+Jaime Rubio My pleasure! And I agree, the power of now is a very deep thought of book. However, I do think Mr. Tolle did a phenomenal job trying to describe the benefits of meditation and presence in a simple way that someone who’s never meditated before can grasp the ideas.

Then after meditating and experiencing the power of now, the book begins to make a lot more sense lol.

And yea, Tim Ferris is the man!

I’ve read the 4 hour workweek and admire the ideas he presents in the book. Chris has also read it as well.

Truth is, Chris is a HUGE fan of Tim’s work lol. I don’t blame him, he’s badass!

However, I don’t necessarily connect with Tim’s entire philosophy of a 4 hour work week because in business, if you TRULY want to create a phenomenal company, you’re going to have to be willing to invest a lot more than simply 4 hours a week.

So I wouldn’t want people to grab a false reality of entrepreneurship, simply because Mr. Ferris said he has a 4 hour work week.

Besides, some of us don’t realize that even our hustle needs hustle lol

+The Conscious Badass Yeah, I understand what u mean and I also thought about that! But in the book he still tells the story of the huge amount of hours he invested in his projects. I don’t think either that you can work 4 hours to fulfill your dreams, at least at the beginning (unless you get very lucky). But I do think it is possible to reach that point, which is what I think Ferris says. I do believe it!

Great to be able to talk about this stuff!
